It is now 10:oo pm and Sarah is back in her room and asleep.

They have put in an external shunt to drain the excess spinal fluid. They took a biopsy and we should know more in a couple of days. She was pretty visty and irritated when she returned to her room but they medicated her and she is now sound asleep.

We now wait for the results of the biopsy to see what we are dealing with. They do plan to go back in to do a more permanent shunt and what else depends on the outcome of the biopsy.
So she will have another surgery in a few days.

Thank you for your prayers, but please do not stop.

Allie and Ryan are doing extremely well. We are a close family and are open and loving. Thank you all for caring so much for all of us. I don't know how any of us can start to repay the kindness you have shown.

I have the night watch over Sarah until 2:00 am and then Billy will come and relieve me. Now that this is over Ronnie has agreed to sleep the whole night. He has not left her side, but to shower since Friday.

Don't forget to write Sarah messages. She read the first few and was deeply moved. My personal prayer is that my daughter sees what the Lord can do. Before surgery we prayed and she reaccepted Christ and has turned to anyone who will pray with her.

We love you all.

Alison

Pastor Dave here from Aldersgate United Methodist Church here. Just wanted you to know that our family has been praying for you, as is our entire congregation.

May you trust that God is walking you during this time, may you trust in His goodness, and may His grace provide everyone both peace and strength.

We too look forward to hearing how God has moved...in Sarah's life, and with those in the family. Reach out of there is anything you need...the Body of Christ is there to help.

Hi Sarah--we are praying for you--for wisdom for your doctors and nurses, for your complete and total healing, and for endurance and grace for all of your family. We are thrilled that you once again accepted Christ--He is your ultimate physician. In these coming days when you'll be forced to rest and be still, listen to what He has to say to you. He will nurture you in amazing ways! We love you--Sharmilla and Josh Felix

Riley and I sure are thinking of you. We are going to miss you at the banquet tonight. Riley was so looking forward to your slideshow. I told her you weren't doing it cus nobody gave you pictures. She was so bummed - I guess she was all about it. Someday we'll figure out these teen-ager communications. Ok, maybe not.

You keep up the fight girl! We love you and it warms my heart to read about how you are still joking, even though your heart (and head) are hurting.

I'm available for anything you might need. Driving kids (I don't follow too close like you do, either), laundry at home, homework, whatever. Please let me know. I don't do snakes though - so don't sign me up with the Seniors.

Thanks Allison for keeping the update so nice on the blog. You would know me as 'Linda at Davis and Bott'.

Prayers and love to you all!
Linda and Riley

I am Glendora Hallings daughter. I called to let her know about Sarah's fall. She asked me to make sure Sarah knows how much mom loves her. She was so kind to mom and so helpful to her at the center. Her prayers are going out for Sarah. I told her I will keep her informed.
Our family will pray for Sarah also.

Hi Sarah--

I just finished the newsletter. We put a paragraph about/for you in it just so the seniors know what's going on. When Doris Trush found out today, she cried.

The kindest of thoughts, wishes and prayers have gone out to you through the seniors at lunch, not to mention that of Bob and I.

Glad to hear that you are managing to find humor along with the seriousness of the situation.

I thought of a caption for some of the snake pictures--"this bites". Fits under the circumstances don't you think?

Love, Iantha
