Wednesday 29th October 2008 Sarah update

The resident M.D. came in this morning and said Sarah will need to have a permanent shunt put in, did not say when Dr. Schmitt would do the surgery. We should be getting some news on the Biopsy either this afternoon or tomorrow. I've been sitting here watching Sarah as she sleeps and she is so strong Sarah keeps her head heald high. Also Allie went to her soccer banquet and was awarded with a plaque for M.V.P. we are proud of her for just the way she is. Ryan is being a trooper.

It's a good thing that Sarah is strong. My wife and I have been thinking about you guys and praying for only the best. I know that most people won't ask for help, so, if you need anything please, please let us know. Sarah, you stay strong, we will pray for the best, Ronnie and the kids, you stay positive. Everything will work out for the best.

Dear Sarah & family
I know that sarah is a very strong person and she will pull threw this. I have told sarah some storys that I have about my dreams. I had a wonderful dream the other night about her. After the surgery's where done she got up and just left the hospital like nothing ever happened. She went on and followed her dreams in her life and nothing was going to stop her. If she could go through this there is nothing that can't stop her. Again I will help out with Cooking, Cleaning for the family but noooo Ironing haha. Allie and Ryan I love you dearly to. If you need anything please call or come and see me K. Allison and the rest of the family keep your heads up my dreams always comes true. Love you guys Rocheal

Way to go Allie! That is a great award....she must be an excellent player! As for Sarah, I am so glad that things are coming into place and there aren't as many questions in the air about what needs to be done. I continue to pray for her and all of you. Keep those heads high. Stay close as a family - it will help you get through this. Best wishes!

We are sure thinking about your whole family. You are all in our prayers. I know that Sarah has lots left to do in this world and that she will be here for all of it. The pictures are great. I got to play with the dogs this morning, and they were so funny. They love to fight over the squeeky toy. They are doing fine, snakes too.
Love you much,
June

We were all so happy to have Allie with us at the banquet last night. She is such a trooper. You could definitely tell how deeply she loves her mom when she stood and gave all of us an update. Sarah, you have such an amazing family and we all grow from knowing Allie. She is a great example to her peers and those who know her!
Allie, thanks for sharing with us last night and congratulations! You definitely are our MVP!

Hello Sarah,

Well, for goodness sake. Just when you didn't think it could rain and pour anymore. I called the senior center to get your cell so I could confirm picking up Allie for physical therapy and learned about this. Will Allie still be going? Do I need to come and get her in SLC and take her and bring her back? I am more than happy to.

Prayers to you and your family. May God's grace and mercy pour out upon you.
